This is brief outline of Rick Mullinax`s qualifications and not his complete history and background in the martial arts
Rick started training at the age of 8 years old under his Father who was in the Army/Air Force in World War II, Rick started training at the age of 12 years old in Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwon and received his first degree black belt at the age of 16 years old
In 1966, started training in the martial art of Kune Do Ryu
In 1970, started training under Larry Hartsell (one of Bruce Lees students)
In 1973, was awarded instructor certification in Jeet Kune Do
In 1974, Rick Mullinax and Larry Hartsell had information published in Black Belt Magazine
In 1974, won first place in a full contact Eastern Martial Arts Championship
In 1976, started training in Li-Ki Kung-Fu
In 1983, received his 6th. degree black belt in Kune Do Ryu
In 1984, Rick Mullinax and Joe Lewis (World karate Champion) held a training class in Gastonia, North Carolina
In 1985, was selected from over forty thousand martial arts for an article in the book of Who`s Who in American Martial Arts
In 1985, Rick Mullinax and Paul Aberdeen (CIA Agent) has a training class for CIA Agents
In July 2003, was the undercover bodyguard at Waterside Plaza for Jillian`s in Norfolk, VA when Mr. Michael Reagan had his book signing " The Greatest Speeches of Ronald Reagan " and the launch of the USS Ronald Reagan
